Friday 4th February 2012 - The Fundraiser Burns Supper held at Drumpellier Golf Club Drumpellier Golf Club was another enjoyable evening which
raised over £2000 for President Jim's charities of Alzheimer's Scotland and The Spinal Unit, Scotland.

Piper Ian Kennedy started off the evening chaired by president Jim. Willie Devoy gave toast to the haggis, Tam O'Shanter and Holy Wullie's Prayer!
Adam Welsh gave the immortal memory, Andy Cusick added many songs to the evening and Iain Robertson was hilarious with his toast to the Lassies and
George Randall was equally funny with his reply. Alex Brownlie Gave the appeal and rounded off the evening with his vote of thanks. |

Thanks go to John Brown and his parent's for hosting what has become the regular summer barbecue.
The wet weather
did not dampen spirits as the barn acted as the ideal venue for food and dancing.
Not only was a good time had by all but a considerable sum was raised for club funds (to be announced).

1st April 2011 - April Fools day. No fools at New Monklands Primary where pupils raised £150 for Purple Pinkie

Rotakids from the school can be seen here with the cheque and the certificate presented by the Rotarians.
The result is £300 for Purple Pinkie as we agreed to match fund the Rotakids effort.

18th February 2011 - IPP John and Junior Vice Janet met with Staff involved in the New Monklands Primary Rotakids to discuss upcoming involvement in Purple Pinky and Lifestraw. The Rotakids will fundraise for these over the next few months.
